This policy outlines products that are prohibited or restricted from storage and shipment through Jetpack’s fulfillment network. Understanding these requirements helps ensure compliance and prevents delays in your operations.
This policy applies to Jetpack’s outsourced fulfillment and transportation services. It does not apply to WMS-only agreements.

Prohibited Products

The following products are strictly prohibited from Jetpack’s fulfillment network and will not be accepted for storage or shipment.

General Prohibited Items

  • Defective, damaged, or recalled items
  • Products with safety warnings or alerts
  • Unauthorized marketing materials
  • Items exceeding standard packaging capabilities
  • Counterfeit goods
  • Products with manufacturing value over USD $300
High-Risk Dangerous Goods:
  • Class 1: Explosives
  • Class 6: Toxic and infectious substances
  • Class 7: Radioactive materials
  • Division 2.3: Toxic gases
  • Division 4.2: Substances liable to spontaneous combustion
  • Division 4.3: Substances which emit flammable gases in contact with water
Battery Restrictions:
  • Lithium-ion batteries ≥101Wh
  • Alkaline batteries ≥21Wh
Substances indicating any of the following hazards:
  • Carcinogenicity
  • Germ cell mutagenicity
  • Reproductive toxicity
  • Specific target organ toxicity from single or repeated exposure
Including but not limited to:
  • Heroin
  • LSD
  • MDMA
  • PCP
  • Psilocybin
  • Marijuana (cannabis products)
  • Cocaine
  • Methamphetamine
  • Prescription opioids (without proper authorization)
Kratom (all forms):
  • Mitragyna speciosa
  • All kratom derivatives and extracts
Ephedrine Alkaloids:
  • Ma huang
  • Ephedra sinica
  • Ephedra equisetina
  • Ephedra distachya
  • Other ephedra variants
  • Live, dead, or dried plants and animals (CPG exempt)
  • Perishable foods requiring refrigeration (meat, dairy, produce)
  • Bulk fertilizers over 40 lbs
  • Raw hemp for B2C orders
  • Ammunition
  • BB guns and airsoft weapons
  • Fireworks and pyrotechnics
  • Firearms and firearm parts
  • Pepper spray
  • Tasers and stun guns
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Tobacco and nicotine products
  • Vape products and e-cigarettes
  • Prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia
  • Preowned or refurbished electronics
  • Theft devices (lockpicks, card skimmers)
  • CBD products containing THC (except Delta-9 compliant products)
  • Fuel-powered engines
  • Used electric engines
  • Non-safety matches
  • Currency and gift cards
  • Wildlife-derived products (ivory, sharkskin, feathers)
  • Class III medical devices (pacemakers, breast implants, defibrillators)
  • Similar high-risk medical equipment

Conditional Products

The following products require written approval from Jetpack before they can be stored or shipped through our fulfillment network.
Contact Merchant Support before shipping any conditional products. Written approval must be obtained and documented before creating warehouse receiving orders.

  • Flammable Materials
  • Oxidizers & Corrosives
  • Batteries
Class 2: Gases
  • Flammable gases (Division 2.1)
  • Non-flammable, non-toxic gases (Division 2.2)
Class 3: Flammable Liquids
  • Liquids with flash points below 60°C
Class 4: Flammable Solids
  • Division 4.1: Flammable solids

Medical Devices

Class I & II Medical Devices (with approval):
  • Products requiring temperature control
  • Items requiring lot number tracking
  • Products with expiration dating requirements
  • Devices subject to FDA regulations

Food & Beverage

Products requiring any of the following need approval:
  • Temperature-controlled storage
  • GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance
  • Products with less than 1 year shelf life remaining
  • Special handling or storage conditions

Other Conditionally Allowed Items

Requirements:
  • Approved resellers only
  • GMP compliance certification
  • Proper labeling and documentation
Requirements:
  • Discreet packaging mandatory
  • Age verification compliance
  • Proper product categorization
Requirements:
  • Temperature control specifications (if needed)
  • GMP compliance certification
  • Accurate ingredient disclosure
Requirements:
  • Delta-9 THC content less than 0.3% by dry weight
  • Third-party lab testing results
  • Compliance with federal and state regulations
Requirements:
  • State-specific approval
  • Proper HAZMAT classification
  • EPA registration documentation
Requirements:
  • Safe packaging methods
  • Protective materials for handling
  • Clear labeling of contents
Approved Items:
  • Engines under 40 lbs
  • Tires
  • Helmets
  • Car seats
Requirements:

  • Weight limitations compliance
Authorized Resellers Only:
  • Infant formula
  • High-end apparel brands
  • Premium or luxury goods
Requirements:
  • Manufacturer authorization documentation
  • Reseller certification
Requirements:
  • Maximum weight: 40 lbs per package
  • Sealed packaging mandatory
  • Agricultural compliance documentation
Requirements:
  • Proper licensing documentation
  • Restricted sale compliance
  • End-user verification
Requirements:
  • Business-to-business transactions only
  • No direct-to-consumer shipments
  • Proper licensing and tax compliance
Requirements:
  • Non-functional parts only
  • Compliance with federal and state laws
  • Proper documentation

Important Compliance Notes

Liability and Disposal:
  • Jetpack is not responsible for return or disposal costs of prohibited items
  • Jetpack is not responsible for lost revenue from rejected products
  • Non-shippable items will be disposed of at merchant’s expense
