Before Jetpack can fulfill your orders, you’ll need to send inventory to one of our Fulfillment Centers (FCs). This process starts with creating a Warehouse Receiving Order (WRO) in your dashboard, which notifies us of your incoming shipment and ensures smooth receiving.
What is a Warehouse Receiving Order (WRO)?
A Warehouse Receiving Order (WRO) is your formal notification to Jetpack that inventory is on the way. It contains critical details about your shipment:- Products and quantities - What you’re sending and how much
- Destination FC - Which fulfillment center will receive the shipment
- Lot numbers and expiration dates - For products requiring batch tracking
- Shipment details - Number of boxes/pallets and tracking information
The WRO Process Overview
Sending inventory to Jetpack follows these key steps:| Step | What You Do | What Happens Next |
|---|---|---|
1. Configure Your Products
Products ready for receiving
2. Create Your WRO
You receive a unique WRO number
3. Ship Your Inventory
Shipment in transit to Jetpack
4. Receiving at Fulfillment Center (FC)
Jetpack receives, verifies, and shelves inventory
5. Inventory Available
Inventory ready for order fulfillment
If you’re using MultiHub IQ (MIQ), you’ll send all inventory to your designated Hero Hub. Jetpack will then automatically distribute your inventory across regional FCs based on demand forecasting.
