Before Jetpack can fulfill your orders, you’ll need to send inventory to one of our Fulfillment Centers (FCs). This process starts with creating a Warehouse Receiving Order (WRO) in your dashboard, which notifies us of your incoming shipment and ensures smooth receiving.

What is a Warehouse Receiving Order (WRO)?

A Warehouse Receiving Order (WRO) is your formal notification to Jetpack that inventory is on the way. It contains critical details about your shipment:
  • Products and quantities - What you’re sending and how much
  • Destination FC - Which fulfillment center will receive the shipment
  • Lot numbers and expiration dates - For products requiring batch tracking
  • Shipment details - Number of boxes/pallets and tracking information
Creating a WRO before shipping ensures Jetpack is prepared to receive your inventory quickly and accurately.

Shipping Methods

Jetpack supports multiple shipping methods based on your shipment size and type:
  • Parcels
  • Freight (LTL)
  • Containers

Prepaid Parcels

Best for smaller shipments sent via standard carriers:
  • Carriers: UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, regional carriers
  • Your responsibility: Purchase shipping labels, schedule pickup, provide tracking
  • Ideal for: Small replenishments, initial test shipments, low-volume products
For detailed guidance, see Sending Parcels Best Practices.

Why Accurate WROs Matter

Creating accurate WROs is critical for avoiding delays and additional fees:
Common IssueWhy It HappensHow to Avoid It
Unidentified Receiving Orders (UROs)
  • Products received don’t match WRO
  • Missing or incorrect barcodes
  • No WRO created before shipment
Create WRO before shipping, verify product details, use correct barcodes
Receiving Delays
  • Incomplete WRO information
  • Missing lot numbers or expiration dates
  • Products not configured in system
Complete all WRO fields, configure products before creating WRO
Additional Fees
  • Overage quantities beyond WRO
  • Non-compliant packaging
  • Missing appointments for LTL freight
Match shipment to WRO exactly, follow packaging guidelines, book appointments
When shipments don’t match WROs or arrive without a WRO, Jetpack creates an Unidentified Receiving Order (URO) to investigate. UROs incur additional fees and cause receiving delays. Learn more about Unidentified Receiving Orders.
