At Jetpack, we believe you should have access to every piece of data about your inventory and fulfillment operations—not because we have to give it to you, but because you need it to run your business intelligently. These aren’t reports we grudgingly provide; they’re tools we’ve built specifically to put actionable insights in your hands so you can make confident decisions about inventory replenishment, SKU performance, and operational planning.

Why Analytics Matter

Running a successful fulfillment operation isn’t just about moving boxes—it’s about understanding patterns, predicting demand, and making data-driven decisions before problems become crises. The difference between an out-of-stock disaster and a smooth peak season often comes down to having the right information at the right time. That’s why we’ve built comprehensive analytics into the Jetpack platform. Every report you’ll find here is designed to answer specific questions you’re actually asking:
  • Where is my inventory going? Track daily movements across every fulfillment center
  • When should I reorder? Get forecasting and replenishment recommendations based on real demand
  • Which SKUs are performing? Understand velocity, days on hand, and top/bottom performers
  • Why are orders in Exception status? Identify out-of-stock SKUs and resolve issues fast
These aren’t vanity metrics or abstract dashboards—they’re operational intelligence that directly impacts your bottom line.

Our Approach to Data Transparency

Most 3PLs treat data like it’s proprietary information they’re doing you a favor by sharing. We think that’s backwards. Your inventory data belongs to you. Period. Our job is to make it accessible, understandable, and actionable so you can:
  • Plan inventory replenishments with confidence, using forecasts based on your actual sales patterns
  • Optimize stock levels by understanding which products move fast and which sit on shelves
  • Resolve operational issues quickly by identifying out-of-stock SKUs and exception orders
  • Make strategic decisions about product lines, seasonal planning, and fulfillment center distribution
Every report in the Jetpack platform refreshes automatically (daily or weekly, depending on the report), exports to Excel or CSV for deeper analysis, and provides filtering options so you can drill down to exactly the data you need.

Available Reports

Jetpack provides four specialized inventory analytics reports, each designed to answer different operational questions:

Inventory Snapshot Report

What it does: Shows you exactly how your inventory levels changed day by day across all fulfillment centers. Why it matters: When you need to understand why your inventory count changed, this report gives you the complete picture—received shipments, picked orders, internal transfers, restocks from returns, spot check adjustments, and more. It’s your inventory movement history, organized by date and fulfillment center. Key features:
  • Daily refresh with automatic updates
  • Tracks 9 different inventory movement types
  • Filter by product, fulfillment center, or date range (up to 12 months)
  • Export data for external analysis
When to use it: Reconciling inventory discrepancies, understanding historical movement patterns, tracking how specific products move through your fulfillment network. View Inventory Snapshot Report documentation →

Inventory Replenishment Report

What it does: Provides SKU forecasting, replenishment recommendations, and rebalance point tracking to help you avoid stockouts. Why it matters: This is your forward-looking inventory intelligence. Using Jetpack’s demand forecasting algorithms (based on your historical orders and seasonality), this report tells you when to reorder, how much to order, and how quickly your inventory will deplete if you don’t replenish. Key features:
  • Weekly SKU demand forecasts for the next 12 months
  • Recommended replenishment quantities and dates
  • Rebalance point tracking for MultiHub IQ distribution
  • Incoming WRO visibility to see inventory already in transit
When to use it: Planning inventory replenishments, seasonal preparation, identifying products at risk of stockout, optimizing MultiHub IQ distribution.
While SKU forecasts and replenishment recommendations help inform decisions, they should be considered as one of many factors in your planning process. Demand can shift unexpectedly, and supply chain conditions change—use these insights as guidance, not gospel.

Inventory Velocity Report

What it does: Analyzes SKU performance with velocity metrics, estimated days on hand, and top/bottom performer insights. Why it matters: Not all SKUs are created equal. Some fly off the shelves, others collect dust. This report helps you understand which products are performing, how fast they’re moving, and how long your current inventory will last based on actual sales velocity. Key features:
  • Average daily velocity calculations per SKU
  • Estimated days on hand based on current inventory and sales rate
  • Top 5 and Bottom 5 SKU performance rankings
  • Breakdown by fulfillment center for distributed inventory
  • Filter by order type (D2C, B2B, wholesale, etc.)
When to use it: Identifying slow-moving inventory, planning promotional strategies, optimizing product mix, understanding SKU performance by fulfillment center. View Inventory Velocity Report documentation →

Out of Stock with Exceptions Report

What it does: Identifies out-of-stock SKUs causing orders to move to Exception status, tracks incoming WROs, and helps you resolve fulfillment issues quickly. Why it matters: Orders in Exception status mean frustrated customers and lost revenue. This report gives you a clear view of which SKUs are causing problems, how many orders are affected, and whether you have inventory in transit to resolve the issues. Key features:
  • Exception order count by SKU
  • Comparison of incoming WRO quantities vs. exception order needs
  • Fulfillable on-hand quantity across all fulfillment centers
  • Incoming WRO tracking with expected quantities
  • Filter by inventory status, exception status, and WRO status
When to use it: Resolving exception orders, identifying stockout situations before they escalate, tracking WRO arrivals to estimate when issues will clear. View Out of Stock with Exceptions Report documentation →

Working with Your Reports

All Jetpack reports refresh automatically (daily or weekly, depending on the report type), so you’re always viewing recent data. Each report page displays the last refresh time so you know how current the information is.

Common Report Features

Filtering: Every report provides filtering options to narrow down the data you’re viewing—by product, fulfillment center, date range, order type, and more. Exporting: All reports support data export in multiple formats (current layout, summarized data, underlying data) so you can analyze information in Excel, share with your team, or integrate with external systems. Interactive Visualizations: Hover over charts and tables to access additional options like enlarging views, highlighting specific data (Spotlight feature), and sorting by different criteria. Multi-Center Visibility: If you use MultiHub IQ or store inventory at multiple fulfillment centers, reports break down data by location so you can see performance at each facility.

Using Reports for Strategic Planning

The real power of these reports isn’t just in the data—it’s in how you use them together to make strategic decisions:
Business ScenarioReports to UseWhat to Look For
Planning seasonal replenishment
  • Inventory Replenishment Report (forecasts)
  • Inventory Velocity Report (historical performance)
Demand forecasts for the next 12 months combined with velocity data from last year’s season to plan order timing and quantities
Identifying slow-moving inventory
  • Inventory Velocity Report (days on hand)
  • Inventory Snapshot Report (movement history)
SKUs with high days-on-hand estimates and minimal movement in the snapshot history—candidates for promotions or liquidation
Resolving stockout situations
  • Out of Stock with Exceptions Report (exception orders)
  • Inventory Replenishment Report (incoming WROs)
SKUs causing exception orders and whether incoming WROs will resolve the issues or if emergency replenishment is needed
Optimizing MultiHub IQ distribution
  • Inventory Snapshot Report (movement by FC)
  • Inventory Velocity Report (performance by FC)
Which fulfillment centers are picking fastest for specific SKUs to inform rebalance point adjustments

Report Refresh Schedules

Different reports refresh on different schedules based on the type of data they contain:
ReportRefresh ScheduleWhat Refreshes
Inventory SnapshotDaily (UTC mornings)All inventory movement data
Inventory Replenishment
  • Daily: Last refresh timestamp, on-hand quantities
  • Weekly (Monday mornings UTC): SKU forecasts, replenishment recommendations
Main report refreshes daily; forecasting models update weekly
Inventory VelocityDaily (UTC mornings)All velocity calculations and performance metrics
Out of Stock with ExceptionsDaily (10:00 am UTC)All exception order and inventory status data
Most reports don’t show data for the current day until the next refresh. Plan your reporting workflows accordingly if you need end-of-day snapshots.

Getting the Most from Your Data

Start with the question, not the report. Instead of opening reports randomly, identify the business question you’re trying to answer first:
  • “Why did my inventory level change?” → Inventory Snapshot
  • “When should I reorder this SKU?” → Inventory Replenishment
  • “Is this product moving fast enough?” → Inventory Velocity
  • “Why is this order in Exception status?” → Out of Stock with Exceptions
Use filters to focus on what matters. Every report supports filtering by product, fulfillment center, date range, and more. Don’t try to analyze everything at once—narrow down to the specific SKUs, locations, or time periods relevant to your current question. Export for deeper analysis. The Jetpack dashboard provides powerful visualizations, but sometimes you need to slice the data differently. Export reports to Excel or CSV when you need custom calculations, pivot tables, or integration with external systems. Check refresh timestamps. Before making decisions based on report data, confirm when the report last refreshed. Most reports update daily, but some elements (like replenishment forecasts) refresh weekly.
