Jetpack’s pricing is designed to be transparent, predictable, and competitive across all fulfillment regions. Whether you’re shipping from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, European Union, or Australia, our pricing structure follows consistent principles while reflecting local operating costs and currency. Understanding how Jetpack’s pricing works—and where to find detailed rates for your region—helps you forecast fulfillment costs and make informed business decisions.

How Jetpack Pricing Works

Jetpack’s fulfillment pricing is built on a foundation of transparency and predictability. Rather than hidden fees or complex calculations, we provide clear, itemized pricing for every service.

The Unified Rate Card Model

For D2C (direct-to-consumer) fulfillment, Jetpack uses a unified rate card approach that simplifies pricing and makes cost forecasting easier. What’s included in your unified rate card:
  • Shipping costs - The carrier’s cost to deliver the package
  • First pick fee - The labor cost to pick the first item in an order
  • Processing fee - Order processing and handling charges
  • Standard packaging - Basic boxes, poly mailers, and packing materials
One Predictable Rate: Your unified rate card combines all these elements into a single, negotiated cost per order. This eliminates surprises and makes it easy to calculate per-order fulfillment costs for budgeting and pricing decisions.
How unified rate cards are determined:
  • Negotiated with each merchant - Your rate card is customized based on your order characteristics, volume, and shipping patterns
  • Reflects your profile - Package sizes, destinations, and shipping speeds influence your rates
  • Reviewed periodically - As your business grows and patterns change, rates can be renegotiated
If you’re unsure what your unified rate card includes or want to discuss optimizing your rates based on changed business conditions, contact Jetpack Care to review your pricing structure.

Additional Pricing Components

Beyond your unified rate card, other fulfillment services are priced separately:

Storage FeesBins, shelves, and pallets housing your inventoryMonthly per location, prorated daily
Per-Unit Pick FeesAdditional items beyond what’s included in your rate cardPer unit picked

Regional Pricing Differences

Jetpack operates fulfillment centers in five regions, each with its own pricing structure based on local costs and currency. Why pricing varies by region:
  • Labor costs - Wage rates and employment costs differ significantly between regions
  • Facility costs - Rent, utilities, and operating expenses vary by location
  • Carrier rates - Shipping carriers charge different rates in each country/region
  • Currency - Pricing is denominated in local currency (USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, AUD)
  • Market conditions - Local economic factors influence operational costs
Currency Consistency: All fees within a region are charged in that region’s currency. If you fulfill from multiple regions, each region’s charges appear separately on your invoice in the appropriate currency.

Pricing Best Practices

Getting the most value from Jetpack’s fulfillment services requires understanding not just the rates, but how to optimize your operations to minimize costs. Tips for managing fulfillment costs:

Optimize Package Dimensions

  • Right-size packaging - Use the smallest box that safely fits your products
  • Reduce dimensional weight - Carriers charge based on dimensional weight, not just actual weight
  • Negotiate rate cards - As your package profiles change, renegotiate rate cards to reflect reality

Manage Storage Efficiently

  • Monitor storage locations - Track which SKUs consume expensive pallet storage vs. affordable bins
  • Consolidate inventory - Request inventory consolidation when SKUs spread across multiple locations
  • Right-size inventory levels - Balance stock availability against storage costs

Streamline Receiving

  • Always create WROs - Avoid URO fees by properly preparing inbound shipments
  • Follow prep requirements - Proper labeling and packaging speeds receiving and reduces fees
  • Consolidate shipments - Fewer, larger inbound shipments reduce per-carton receiving costs

Leverage Volume

  • Discuss custom pricing - High order volumes may qualify for negotiated rate reductions
  • Meet fulfillment minimums - Ensure consistent order volume to avoid minimum fees
  • Explore multi-region fulfillment - Distributing inventory can reduce shipping zones and costs
Regular Pricing Reviews: Schedule quarterly or semi-annual reviews of your fulfillment costs. Analyze invoice data to identify trends, spot optimization opportunities, and determine whether your rate cards still reflect your current business model.
