Integrating QuickBooks Online with Jetpack enables automatic syncing of product information and inventory counts between your accounting system and your fulfillment dashboard. This integration streamlines your operations by pulling product data from QuickBooks into Jetpack and pushing inventory counts back to QuickBooks, without modifying any accounting information.

About ShipBob Integration References
During setup, you’ll authorize the “ShipBob” integration in QuickBooks Online. This is expected—Jetpack has licensed ShipBob’s integration infrastructure to provide reliable connections. Your data flows seamlessly to your Jetpack dashboard.
Prerequisites
Before connecting QuickBooks Online to Jetpack, ensure you have:
- QuickBooks Online account with administrator access
- Jetpack merchant account with login credentials
- Access to the company you want to connect in QuickBooks Online
Understanding QuickBooks Online Integration Capabilities
The QuickBooks Online integration offers basic functionality designed to keep your product catalog and inventory counts synchronized between systems. This integration focuses on inventory management without affecting your accounting data, order workflows, invoicing, or payment processing.
What This Integration Syncs:
- Products: Pull product information from QuickBooks Online to Jetpack
- Inventory Counts: Push inventory stock counts from Jetpack back to QuickBooks Online
What This Integration Does Not Support:
The integration is designed solely for syncing product information and inventory. It does not support order management (commerce), invoicing, or payment functions.
Installing the QuickBooks Online Integration
Follow these steps to connect your QuickBooks Online account with Jetpack and configure your sync settings.
Click Integrations in the side navigation bar
In the Jetpack dashboard, navigate to the Integrations section.
Select App Store
Choose QuickBooks Online to begin the integration process.Click Connect App
On the QuickBooks Online details page, click the Connect App button.Click Connect for the QuickBooks Online app
In the connection settings, click Connect next to QuickBooks Online.Enter your QuickBooks credentials and sign in
Fill out your QuickBooks Email or User ID and Password, then click Sign In. Once authenticated, you will be redirected to the company selection screen.Select your company and click Next
Choose the appropriate company from the dropdown and click Next.Return to Connection Settings and connect ShipBob to sync Jetpack
Go back to the Jetpack QuickBooks Online app in the Connection Settings screen and click Connect for the ShipBob app.Enter your Jetpack credentials and log in
Enter your Jetpack Username and Password, then click Login.
Grant access and select your channel
On the following page, grant ShipBob access to the relevant QuickBooks data under the Channel Selection panel. You can either use your existing QuickBooks Online channel or create a new one by entering a unique channel name.Click Allow & Install to finalize the connection
Review the permissions and click Allow & Install. A success message will appear confirming the connection.
Configure sync settings
Choose which data you want to sync between QuickBooks Online and Jetpack by checking the corresponding boxes:
- Sync New Products: Automatically sync new products added to QuickBooks Online
- Sync Inventory Stock Counts: Push inventory counts from Jetpack back to QuickBooks Online
Click Save when finished.Set up your sync schedule
Configure how frequently data syncs between QuickBooks Online and Jetpack:
- Automatic Sync: Choose your desired syncing frequency from the dropdown list to sync data automatically at regular intervals
- Pause Sync: If you prefer not to have automatic syncing, leave the option set to Pause (the default setting)
Click SAVE to apply your schedule.
Your QuickBooks Online integration will now be marked as Active. You can trigger an immediate sync by clicking Sync Now.
To modify connection settings or the syncing schedule, click the relevant links in the app settings.
Under Sync Logs, you can review all syncing jobs that have occurred.
Syncing Products from QuickBooks Online
After completing the initial setup, you can configure Jetpack to sync both existing products and new products from your QuickBooks Online account.
Syncing Existing Products
As part of the integration setup, you can choose to sync existing products from your QuickBooks Online store to your Jetpack dashboard. This option appears during the initial configuration when you select which data to sync in the Configure your Integration Settings step.
Syncing New Products
To enable automatic syncing of new products added to QuickBooks Online:
Navigate to Integrations and click My Apps
From the Jetpack dashboard, click Integrations in the side navigation bar, then select the My Apps tab.
Select QuickBooks Online from the list
Locate and click on QuickBooks Online from your connected apps.
Open Connections Settings
Go to the Connections Settings within QuickBooks Online.
Enable Sync New Products
Scroll down until you find the Sync New Products checkbox and click to enable it.
Once enabled, any new products added to QuickBooks Online will automatically sync to your Jetpack dashboard.

Syncing Inventory Stock Counts
You can automatically sync your inventory stock counts from Jetpack back to your QuickBooks Online store, keeping your accounting records up to date with actual fulfillment center inventory levels.
To enable automatic inventory sync:
Navigate to Integrations and click My Apps
From the Jetpack dashboard, click Integrations in the side navigation bar, then select the My Apps tab.
Select QuickBooks Online from the list
Find and click on QuickBooks Online from your list of available apps.
Open Connections Settings
Open the Connections Settings for QuickBooks Online.
Enable Sync Inventory Stocks Count
Locate the Sync Inventory Stocks Count checkbox and check the box to enable automatic inventory sync back to your QuickBooks Online store.
Once enabled, Jetpack will automatically push updated inventory counts to QuickBooks Online according to your configured sync schedule.
Disabling the QuickBooks Online Integration
If you need to disconnect your QuickBooks Online integration:
Navigate to Integrations and My Apps
From the Jetpack dashboard, click Integrations and then My Apps in the side navigation bar.
Open QuickBooks settings
Click the three vertical dots on the QuickBooks tile to open the options menu.
Uninstall the integration
Go to the Connection Settings page, scroll down, and click the Uninstall button.
